Meet the Providers
Jacob Dean, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Dean is a board certified family physician who has lived in Ohio his entire life. Dr. Dean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wright State University & subsequently graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Dean established his family practice in 2003. Dr. Dean continued to expand his skills by completing acupuncture training through the Academy of Pain Research in California. Dr. Dean now practices neuro-acupuncture. Dr. Dean extended his practice in 2016 to include Occupational Medicine and is now certified to perform DOT physicals and is Citran’s Medical Review Officer.
Casey Young, MPAS, PA-C
Orthopedic & Injury Specialist
Casey utilizes his expertise in injury care from his 5 years in trauma surgery and 9+ years in orthopedic surgery for injured workers. Casey works with injured workers and employers to return employees back to work, as safely and as soon as possible. Casey graduated from Kettering College of Medical Arts the University of Nebraska. Casey has been a volunteer paramedic for 18 years. For the past 15 years Casey has been a volunteer for the Arnold Sports Festival Medical Team where he is a Site Medical Director. Casey is vice president of Springfield Thunder Soccer Club and volunteers at his local church. Casey lives in Springfield with his wife and two daughters.
Liz Ater, MPAP, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Liz joins our team with a Master’s of Physician Assistant from the University of Dayton. She began her college career at Wright State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Exercise Biology. She is also a certified DOT Medical Examiner through the FMSCA National Registry and certified provider for the Ohio BWC.
Before working with acute injuries in an urgent care setting, Liz assisted with a wide array of orthopedic surgeries at a busy practice in Dayton.
Her background in sports medicine and experience in orthopedics and occupational health will be valuable traits when it comes to treating and screening our indus- trial athletes. Optimizing her strength in performing pro- cedures such as: sutures, splinting and wound care.
Liz’s strong critical thinking skills under pressure will make her a great team lead in her provider role at Citran to evaluate patient needs, prioritize treatment and patient flow in a high intensity environment.

You can find Liz spending time with her husband and four kids on the weekends playing board games, cooking, camping, boating or exploring different places. She’s also an avid volunteer in many community outreach programs.

Lauren Koesters
Licensed Practical Nurse
Lauren has a passion for health care that started out as a Dental Assistant. She then decided to pursue a nursing career and became a nurse’s aide at a local long-term care facility. Once Lauren received her LPN, she worked in long term care for 10 years until she happily landed at Citran in February of 2018. In her free time, Lauren loves to take advantage of the great outdoors such as hiking and camping; and spending quality time with family and friends.
Danyell Baird
Medical Assistant
Danyell began her career in Emergency Medicine as a Patient Care Tech. While there, Danyell worked closely with Orthopedists where she became a specialist in splinting & casting. Danyell is DOT certified for urine drug screen collection &
breath alcohol testing. Danyell was instrumental in the design of Citran’s themed patient rooms.
Kimberly Kelly-White
Registration & Billing Specialist
Kim is a lifelong resident of Clark County. Kim began her health care career as a registration specialist in 1991. In 1993 Kim expanded her knowledge base to include Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Billing Specialist. Kim is excited to bring her knowledge to our team. She has 4 kids and 12 grandchildren! Loves Lake Erie, the Ocean and Fishing (anywhere).
Jackie Pollock
Registration & Billing Specialist
Jackie is a native of Springfield. She began her medical career as a Radiology Support Specialist at a local hospital. In 2000 Jackie expanded her knowledge in Occupational Health to include Registration & Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Billing Specialist. Jackie spends her free time with her husband, 3 children, 4 grandchildren & family. She also enjoys attending historical car shows and gardening.
Julie Reedy
Marketing & Client Relations
Julie has worked with employers in the Dayton/Springfield market for 10 years now giving her the ability to interpret her clients’ needs to coordinate appropriate occupational health services. Julie is a Dayton native, earning her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Public Relations with emphasis in Marketing. Prior to managing accounts in occupational health, Julie gained experience in community wellness by working with local employers to develop comprehensive preventative health screening solutions to encourage healthy lifestyles and healthier employees. In her spare time, she enjoys quality time on a lake or beach with her husband, two children, and friends. She loves everything about the fall season including her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes!
